ThriveGirls Club

The world of work and business is changing rapidly, with digital tools and entrepreneurship becoming key drivers of opportunity. Unfortunately, many Senior High School (SHS) girls in Ghana, especially in the Northern Region, are left behind. Limited access to digital skills training and entrepreneurial exposure means that girls often graduate without the confidence or abilities to compete in today’s economy.

While young men are more likely to explore technology and enterprise opportunities, girls face barriers such as low confidence, lack of mentorship, and limited platforms for practical learning. This digital and entrepreneurial gap does not just affect the individual girl, but also reduces the broader community’s potential for innovation and growth.

The Thrive Girls Club was created to close this gap.

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) education remains a supportive component, ensuring girls are informed and able to make responsible choices that enable them to focus on their personal and professional growth.

The Thrive Girls Club is a safe space for Senior High School girls in Northern Ghana to learn, grow, and lead.

We help SHS girls build confidence, gain digital and entrepreneurial skills, and make informed choices about their health and future. The club is about creating a community of young women who support each other and prepare for opportunities beyond school.
