Digital Empowerment Program for Technical and Vocational Education Training (DEP-TVET)

1. Background & Rationale

In emerging markets, a large portion of the workforce lacks digital skills, making it difficult to compete in the modern job market or leverage technology for business growth. Many TVET students are unable to access structured digital training programs that provide them with the necessary skills to thrive in a digital economy.

DEP-TVET is designed to address this gap by equipping TVET students, and early-stage TVET entrepreneurs with the digital skills needed for employment, freelancing, and business growth. The program aligns with Thrive Nest’s focus on digital skills training, livelihood empowerment, and digital literacy by providing practical, market-driven training in digital tools, online business, and media skills.

2. Project Goal
