Entrepreneurship Development

This thematic area aims to equip women and young people, particularly those in under-resourced communities with the skills, knowledge, and support systems they need to build sustainable livelihoods. Thrive Nest promotes economic empowerment by fostering entrepreneurship, vocational development, and financial independence through tailored programs.

Key Focus Areas:

 

Entrepreneurship Development:
Hands-on training in business ideation, planning, management, and marketing to help participants launch and scale micro and small enterprises.

Community-Specific Skills Development: Customized training based on the economic opportunities available in different communities

Agribusiness Empowerment:
Empowering youth and women to see agriculture as a business through training in climate-smart farming practices, agri-processing, value addition, and agritech. Includes access to land, inputs, and market linkage support where possible.

Financial Literacy & Access to Finance:
Training on budgeting, saving, record-keeping, and accessing microfinance, savings groups, and digital financial tools.

Mentorship
Ongoing support through mentoring and coaching, to nurture business ideas from concept to execution.
