ThriveGirls Project– Empowering Women and Girls through Digital Skills

1. Background & Rationale

The digital economy presents significant opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship. However, women remain underrepresented in the technology sector due to gender biases, limited access to training, and societal barriers. The ThriveGirls program aims to bridge this gap by providing women and girls with digital skills, mentorship, and career support, ensuring their active participation in the digital economy.

2. Project Goal

To empower women and girls with relevant digital skills, enabling them to secure employment, launch startups, and drive digital transformation in their communities.

3. Objectives

  • Equip women with foundational and advanced digital skills in areas like coding, web development, cybersecurity, generative AI, and digital marketing.
  • Provide mentorship and career guidance to increase female participation in the tech industry.
