About Us

Thrive Nest is a non profit enterprise support organization based in Tamale, Ghana, dedicated to equipping young people, women, and small businesses with the skills, tools, and support needed to build and grow sustainable enterprises. Founded in response to the growing digital divide and youth unemployment in Northern Ghana, Thrive Nest delivers practical, market-driven programmes that enable individuals to participate meaningfully in today’s digital economy. Our work is strongly focused on early-stage entrepreneurs, particularly TVET students, young people transitioning into work, women-led businesses, informal sector artisans, and agribusiness and agricultural value chain actors who often lack access to structured business support, relevant skills, and market opportunities. We operate across the Tamale Metropolitan Area, Sagnarigu and Savelugu. Our approach combines hands-on training in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and business development with mentorship and access to networks that support growth. We support participants to move from ideas to structured, income-generating ventures. Our flagship programmes include the Digital Inclusion for Craft Enterprises (DICE), which supports artisans to improve business visibility and customer engagement using digital tools; Her Digital Path, an International Girls in ICT Day mentorship initiative that exposes young girls to digital opportunities and career pathways; and the Thrive Girls Club, which equips female senior high school students with entrepreneurship, digital, and life skills to prepare them for transition into life after school.

We also strengthen employability and workforce readiness among recent graduates through practical exposure, problem-solving, communication skills, and real-world application of learning. Thrive Nest is very much aligned to global development goals, directly aiding the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
